CITYWILD: Regenerative Micro-Garden Platform

New York City is the third-hottest urban heat island in the USA, and air pollution alone causes roughly 5,000 ER visits every year. Regenerative gardens offer an effective, affordable, and attractive solution to combat many of the social and environmental issues facing urban environments. CITYWILD was a solution born from a team of local New York residents intent on overcoming barriers and introducing micro-gardens to take advantage of unused or underused open space in the city.
